OUR SUGGESTIONS ON INCREASE FOREX SUPPLY INFLOW PART 11

There is practically nothing on ground in Nigeria to attract the dollar. NIGERIA can attract Foreign Direct Investors with " potential" billions of Dollar Forex- lnflow supply into Nigeria economy?
PMB and his Economic Team in the cabinet and CBN must please take critical look into tackling the unsettled foreign private investors and Nigerian business people.

Since CBN has allowed the unrestricted foreign exchange market with the introduction of the lnterbank forex platform, many Nigerians expect the lln- flows of foreign portfolio investment to rise again to boost forex supply into Nigeria.

The  Liberalization of Nigeria' s FX market is expected to bring back many of the disappointed foreign private lnvestora back into Nigerian investment.

The FG should please give every Foreign investors a relative stability and access to predictable information about Nigeria economies- which are key for investors to do more in our country.

Nugeria Government at both the Federal and State levels should please lnvest a great deal in national statistics bureaus for regular and update to date data alongside official indicators.

Nigeria should be re- listed on JP Nigeria' s GBI - EM index.  Nigerai must have the PIB passed into law by the National Assembly and Liberalized the oil and gas sectors.  This will send right signals to massive foreign capital lnvestors to lnvest in petroleum upstream, midstream and downstream and gas processing sectors.

At a time of weaker Crude oil prices, when Nigeria has become more reliant on foreign financing of much- needs massive infrastructure there is less financing available.

After an initial surge in the prices of items now on a ' restricted for impor list we have seen little evidence of a corresponding revival in domestic production with prices of restricted import items still elevated, Nigeria has not been able to substitute imports effectively -  at least not yet.
