NIGERIA

Nigeria is the most populous nation in Africa and the seventh most populous in the world. Her population will be approximately 200 million by 2019 and over 400 million by 2050, becoming one of the top five populous countries in the world.

RECESSION

The features of Recession are job losses, massive pay cuts, debt defaults and suicide, Depression and war are the other worse things than a recession.

STATE OF THE NATION 11

Some got billions from the bank without collateral using political influence. They put half into business and spent the other half on exotic cars, jeweries etc.

We have been following the activities of this government and whenever we have the opportunity, we try to find out the opinions of the people as regards the performance of this government.

NIGERIA IS WORKING PART 11

The Nigeria Constitution grants people resources on the basis of " Land Mass". What does that make people do to get these resources? Fight for more states to have their own " Land Mass" to get money and have border disputes.

If the Niger Delta was given it's own fair share of the revenues derived from oil extract in the region, do you think it would have been  enough to turn  the region into one of the most developed araea of  the Country, enough to outshine Lagos/Abuja and even compare to the Cities in the Emirates?

That's what PDP, the party that sank Nigeria into an abyss, said is their new slogan. Lol, how could they ever CHANGE THE CHANGE when they are even finding it extremely difficult to change just one man, Ali Modu Sheriff?

BLACK RACE

We are not obliged even the least to try to prove to anybody and to the blacks and Arabs that we are superior people.  We have demonstrated that to blacks and Arabs in 1001 ways.

ROLE OF PARENTS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS

How are we promoting teens education if the government at all levels no longer fund public schools where only the downtrodden attend?

PROMOTING EDUCATION CHARACTER AND CULTURE AMONG NIGERIA TEENS

Over the recent years, Nigerian teens have been  receiving the short and wrong ends of the stick. We often wondered what kind of stories we will tell our children in  future about the present days.

In 1978, Nigeria under General  Olusegun Obasanjo introduced a new national anthem, we went from 'Nigeria we hail thee ' to'. Arise O Compatriot'. Students and workers used to relish singing our own dear native land.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encourage to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, value and attitudes.

PROBE OF FG MILITARY BUDGET

Nigeria is just developing and growing. No where in the world will police officer arrests an armed robber suspect and the suspect will claim why did the anti-crime agent arrests him/her first ahead of other armed robbers.

CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA

It is disheartening that every office holders conceive he/her department as a private freedom, staffs hide information from one another, it's really tragic while many work for personal interest.

GEJ ERA

Every economic boom enjoyed by GEJ administration was the hard work of his once political godfather OBJ and his economic team. What OBJ had done was to take care of the macroeconomic problems of the country, the Naira was stable, there was confidence in the economy and Foreign Direct investments poured into Nigeria.

THE EFFECT OF OBJ'S POLICIES

Most major governments coming out of economic was do not enjoy the positive effects of their sound policies, it was about 4-5 years that we started enjoying or experiencing the positive effect of the policy.

KNOWLEDGE AND IGNORANCE

There are two principles that govern economics within an economy, if we transgress on the first one, we will bound to pay direly for our actions in future and that is what is happening in Nigeria today.

NORTHERN DEVELOPMENT

It will help many of the problems of Northern Nigeria " some governors of states are doing very well  in governance but they could excel if they coordinate their activities. Yes, things are not that simple. For instance, while Communal Conflicts may be the top concern of Governor Orton of Benue State, Child- begging and poor school enrolment may be Governor Tambuwal's major problems in Sokoto State.

WILL THE CHANGE GET BETTER

They were hoping for a more better life. Thinking their life will never be the same under a change canopy. We made them realize the cowboy government(past govt) had raped them in public.

NIGERIA TODAY

Destabilising PDP is not a ticket to national prosperity in years ahead.  In a country historically linked with military rulership, level playing field for thrive of multi-party politics should ordinarily not be a choice it is really important to allow political parties make internal popular decisions on their own terms.

ONDO STATE GUBERNATORIAL PARTY PRIMARIES MUST BE TRANSPARENT AND CREDIBLE

We want to draw attention of all the political parties vying for governorship seat in Ondo State in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, of the need to strictly abide by the tenents of democracy in the conduct of the primaries to choose their gubernatorial candidates.

The Next Governor of Ondo State

The departure from the development tread of the state by the Incumbent has created a gap in the development history, the next Governor of Ondo State, therefore must understand the gap and he or she must be able to provide workable solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting the state is in acute debt and the reality of constant fall in her revenue has confronted them.

SHOULD A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE?

It is no news today, that Ondo State seeks the hands of a new steward to tend her herculean affairs for the next four years, as the incumbent steward would soon relinquish office.

The crime budget padding by a Nigerian Legislative body,frighteningly steep increases in annual spending, with those added figures going into the private pocket of principal officers is not committed by the Green Chamber (House of Reps) alone, the Upper Chamber (Senate), without exemption of State Assemblies who are also notorious in the act.

ECONOMIC GROWTH

The realities of the global economic down in the last few years have made it extremely important for govts to device strategies of keeping very well afloat.

PDP

The tide change unfortunately for Raymond Dokpesi who lamented that latest decision to zone chairmanship position of PDP to south west will cost the party yet another mistake. Perhaps, such decision is best for PDP at this strugling period in it history.

BUDGET PADDING

Many people were angry at PMB back then when the budget was taking too long to be passed. At a time, while rejecting to sign the budget, he travelled out of the country looking as though he was insensitive.

Many Nigerians keep wondering why US Dollar keep rising against crashing Naira? American Economy keep waxing stronger irrespective of how other Countries are battling with their own Economies.

Tinubu is no god – Melaye

The All Progressives Congress member representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye, on Thursday explained that he insulted Senator Oluremi Tinubu, during an executive session at the Senate after she referred to him as a thug.

Dino Melaye, a disgrace to the Senate -Tinubu

ABUJA— Former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, yesterday, described Dino Melaye as a disgrace to the Senate.

His reaction came against the backdrop of last Tuesday’s shouting match between his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Melaye during the closed-door session of the Senate. 

Melaye, who represents Kogi West senatorial district in the Senate, had reportedly threatened to beat up the APC leader’s wife during the altercation between them, boasting allegedly that nothing would happen if he did so.

Gunmen abduct Ambode’s account director, son

Some gunmen have abducted a director of account in the office of the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Thomas Otuyemi, in the Epe area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Otuyemi, 60, was abducted by the gunmen alongside his son, whose name had yet to be known, on Saturday.

It was gathered that the gunmen, who came from the creeks in the Epe area, took father and son away to an unknown location.
