PMB's administration has come under fire repeatedly from expected quarters for reminding us of our past of klepticracy which is reaponsible for our economic woes that is biting hard as a result of the recession.
To this class of critics, it is better if we ignore the past, forget it or behave as if it didn't exist, which is very symptomatic of our hypocritical life of behaving like the proverbial ostrich which buries its head in the sand while the rest of the body is in the open.
Ordinarily, no one should be haunted by the past which is like mirror, if you don't have anything to hide because it serves as a quide to present actions And helps in determining the future.
Our elders say that when a child falls he or she looks forward, but when an adult falls, he looks back in order to find out the cause and prevent a future re- occurence.
It is only natural that we look at the mirror of our past in order to remind ourselves of our journey so far as a people that we didn't just arrive at this present location by magic or miracle.
Only the guilty are hunted by their past no matter how sordid because the past, present and future is what makes humanity and not pretensions.
