The departure from the development tread of the state by the Incumbent has created a gap in the development history, the next Governor of Ondo State, therefore must understand the gap and he or she must be able to provide workable solutions to the myriad of challenges confronting the state is in acute debt and the reality of constant fall in her revenue has confronted them.
The next Governor must build capacity in the system fir innovative strides at the onset of a new agenda that will see the state out of its present economic doldrums.
He must be a catalyst for change, endowed with skills for networking and consensus building. He or She must have the Uncanny ability to connect with the while at the same time challenging the status quo in order to integrate their fortune into their future.
Apart from being a professional, he or she must have a full grasp of our politics and its attendant sophistication and ruggedness. He or She must be firm, strong in character abd fly in dignity.
The next Governor must be administratively experienced, politically and socially competent, articulate and must represent the Ondo State Agenda.
It is worth knowing that the people who make the difference are those who have the necessary experience and concern vision does not translate to capacity. To govern in their clime, a perfect blend of experience, capacity, concern and politics is off essence.
