NIGERIA'S PROBLEM.

Nigeria's problem are the  politicians. If we restructure Nigeria with the crop of politicians  we have now, it means that the governors or the person in control will be richer than the state.

With this present structure, some states have excelled and done well in virtually every facets of the economy. Corruption is the problem of our country and not restructuring. If all the states spend 80 - 90% of all the monthly allocations they get from Abuja judiciously, there wouldn't be any cry or shout for restructuring as it is presently been advocated from some quarters.

In the 70s when we had the regional system of government that excelled, it was because the Baba Awolowo, Dr Ziks, Alh. Tafawa Balewa, Micheal Osadebes etc were selfless, patriotic, disciplined, committed and were corrupt free.

Also with this present structure of government, state and local governments have the opportunity of partnering or collaborating with the central government both economically, politically, socially etc.

Finally, this present structure will hinder any state from attaining or achieving its full potentials in any facets of life.
