Dilma Roussef of Brazil was impeached and likely too face criminal prosecution for falsifying the economic realities of Brazilian elections before their last presidential elections to woo votes to her favour!
In NIgeria GEJ became hero to some for doing worse than Roussef when he floated the Africa's Biggest Economy media stunt before the 2015 elections while his government borrowed heabvily to pay salaries, owing hundreds of billions in unpaid fuel subsidy obligation's and many state governments were grappled in many months salaries areas burden!
Now, we quite understand our disappointment with the state of our economy but the indicators are looking bright, the economic horrizon isn't looking as bleak as places like Egypt, Venezuela, and even Mexico (4th largest oil deposit and home to the richest man, Carlos Slim).
Even first world countries like Greece with all Sophistication of governance went through rough times and still meandering their way out of the economic wilderness. In the face of these, it is our duty as people of good conscience to educate the less enlightened by using reason and logic to counter the prevailing narrative that things are so bad because PMB is a bad manager of resources.
No good economic policies work overnight except for voodoo economic policies, it takes time. However it is the potential and promise of such policies that gives us hope.
A GREATER NIGERIA WILL EMERGE SOON.
