LEADERSHIP.

We need to be sensitized that the better way  to purposeful leadership and purposeful living is to enforce right not to enforce evil.  Lee Kuan Yew is a model of leadership Africa need to adopt as a template because he has shown to us the possibilities of real change and quantum leap.

Lee Kuan Yew studied in England as a lawyer, he did not just buy hook line and sinker Neo Liberal capitalism, he came back home and look at what will fit their society.  As many analysts will say their economy is not totally capitalism neither is it completely socialist, it is kind of a balance.

What he did was to take the good from capitalism and good from socialism, marry them and merge them together in order to create what he sense and felt was good. 

This is very commendable, it means that he was a visionary leader that was not manipulated by any established precedence so to speak, which will not work because part of what we have in Nigeria is that we always have this vacillation from one far left to one far  right without any original thought that is design for our Nation.

When he was discussing the balance between typeful enterprise and not having the firm hand to be able to control, he was talking from a vantage point of understanding that one need a combination of both in order to encourage a nation to prosper showing the debt of this thought as a leader.

The need to have a value based communities, society and country is critical.  The conversation should begin at the family level, educational Institutions, religious centers and at a level of established Institutions. Every ills in our clime today thrive because of the failure of Our Institutions.
