This nation has a national prayer, what is tradition of christian and Muslim opening and closing prayers in official and government events.
Does our nation discriminate against non Muslims and Christians? Is our National prayer which is the second stanza Our National Anthem, not good enough? What prayer saiud in our political protocols and state engagements can be more sincere and revise than this.....
O GOD OF CREATION
DIRECT OUR NOBLE CAUSE
AND GUIDE OUR LEADERS RIGHT
HELP OUR YOUTH THE TRUTH TO KNOW
IN LOVE AND HONESTY TO GROW
AND LIVING JUST AND TRUE
GREAT LOFTY HEIGHTS ATTAIN
TO BUILD A NATION WHERE PEACE
AND JUSTICE SHALL REIGN.
What more official prayes do these political operators who are predominantly godists without godliness needs? Must they continue to deepen our fault lines and chisel our religious differences on corporate canvass.
