We totally agree on the call for restructuring and devolution of power for effective running of the system. We have no doubt it will bring the much anticipated development to our Country.
What we however find difficult to accept is the nation that restructuring, devolution or resource control is the holy grail of our development.
Nigeria once on the part of development and greatness. That golden era of the Nigeria shipping line or the Nigerian Airways came about not because of devolution, restructuring or resource control.
It came about because of the dedication to national duty of men and women of integrity who placed the country before self. That golden era was sustained by men of vision in our civil service who took and handled govt the primary cause of their failures and subsequent death was the corrupt tendencies and unpatriotic actions of the leadership of this institutions.
