In Turkey the whole place will go guiet at the call to Mushin prayers. Some people were even paid by their govt to Quaran, call people to prayer and lead the prayers.
But yet Turks don't wear their religion on their sleeves as much as we wear religion like clothes here in Nigeria. They don't display religion like we do here.
20 years Ago, Turkey was one of the most backward Countries in the world. All it's developmental indices were rock bottom, despite all their religiosity and spiritualities, the Turkish state was one of the poorest.
In 2016, they are a wonder to behold. Turkey boosts first class in free strict years like every 95 nation and yet their dedication to religion has not change it is stringer
WHAT HAS CHANGED?
The answer lies in their LEADERSHIP patriotic attitude to developing their country, their Leadership structures and institutions are well groomed to serve father land.
The USA is one country that doesn't allow religion to dedicate their life. They flourish likes well tended garden in the rainy season. So what's working for them despite their warped ESTABNLISHMENT?.
From the 2 examples cited, presence or Lacvk of religion is not the problem, the solution lies in STRONG INSTITUTIONS AND LEADERSHIP BRAND.
Even if Nigeria were to scrap all religions and become an atheistic state,our condition will still not improve because the state of our Institutions and Leadership!!!.
