One of the best news in recent days was the feelers that PMB was already making efforts to reshuffle his cabinet.
This price of news came at no better time! It is indisputable that even some of the ardent supporters of the president are now at a point where they find it difficult to rationalise the sub-par performance of the government, especially in the area of economic recovery and growth.
More importantly, more and more people now feel a growing sense of alienation between the government and the public as the official narrative on the state of things does little to inspire the much needed hope.
It, therefore, came as a relief that the president has finally found the courage to do the needful by our hailing his administration.
The peculiarity and precarious nature of the time would not allow for a largely conservative cabinet. Nigeria, at this moment, needs an activist, reform- minded, transformational Leadership.
We can't be too patient. We need men and women of courage who could break new grounds, inspire hope and deliver on the president's much vaunted promise of change.
